    Your quilt is sooo beautiful I which I could do that. You said practice how long did it take to get that good. It is lovely.

    Well done and I too would love to learn to quilt like that one day. So what batting did you use as I see someone asked this question but I did not see your reply. Thanks.

    I used poly batting. I normally use warm and natural batting but started using poly recently. Poly works well with this.

    YOur whole-cloth quilting is stunning! I hope to one day be able to learn to do this. For now, I love admiring those that other talented (and brave!) quilters complete -- Congratulations on a job very artistically and beautifully done!

    Do you have to mark them or are they all ready to do? I think it would help me to try one of these on my new gammill. Are you new at it? Was it easy? Very, very nice.

    I marked it with a disappearing marker and just sketched out a line for the feathers to follow. This was my first one and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I had lots of starting and stopping with it. It was fun. :)
