I have the final word from the maker of the quilt. The pattern is called Sunny Lanes from the book Nickel Cricket Quilts.

OK, so I have googled the name of the book and came up empty. Also Amazon.com doesn't have it. Do you know the author's name? Has anyone else found it? I REALLY want to make this quilt! So maybe I'll have to draft the pattern from all the helpful folks here....
