I love your bed runner. I would bind it using the green you have on your pillow. Browns are difficult to match and sometimes one shade off can stand out like a sore thumb. As for FMQ I would do meandering swirls or small stipple. Can't wait to see it finished!.

You know, there was such a WOW factor when I first saw it that, if it were me, I'd probably just bind it in the same fabric as the border. It's so stunning I don't think I'd want to pull the eye away from delicateness of the block work and French Roses and the surprise of the polka dot border.

Karen, I must say, your points are very impressive. Wonderful work. Love the color combination, the design is just lovely. Use of the buttons adds such dimension. Did you design it yourself?

I would just do straight line quilting following the triangle and square shapes. I don't think it needs a lot of quilting, just enough to accent the shapes used. It looks wonderful with the pillows.

Lovely colours and I'm happy to see I'm not the only one with an ET(I'm 59). I rescued mine from a charity shop who were going to throw him out as he had been there a while. His eye was a little scraped and his arm torn and I got him for 50 pence. He's still here with me ...
