They are amazing! I love hummingbirds. It must have been an incredible experience to see that many in one place. I am lucky if I see one or two a season.

What great fun!!! DH and I have a bunch of feeders set up and they are just teeming with Hummers right now. I think we are getting about 6 varieties. I love the Anna's with their spread yellow and orange tail. I'll try to get a pic of one on the feeder. Quilting is wonderful, but so is the weork of God.

IBQuiltin, I would love to see a picture of your Anna. I actually tried to download a couple more photos, but wasn't successful..You're lucky to have so many!

I have 3 hummingbird feeders that keep me busy! There are about 20 birds that come to the feeders and they are greedy little guys. I love to watch their aerial fights and acrobatic flights. They are a hoot. This year had to supplement their feed since there were not too many flowers that survived the heat, but it has been a work of heart.

Iraxy, I know what you mean about the heat. We lost lots of flowers--some we'd had for years. We had and inch of rain earlier this week. TV reported we are now 25" below norm!

WOW!!!! I am a bird lover in Ohio and my sewing machine sits in a window that looks out at my 14 bird feeders. I wouldn't have gotten any quilting done this weekend either.

That is too exciting! We have humming birds in our back yard, and could watch them by the hours. Thanks for sharing.
