    Maybe I am strange, but it seems like the older I get the more patient I get. I don't really find a need to use bad language.

    I know that joke about 'how nice' and have repeated it before. I smile inside myself and often say "That's very very nice'. Laughing out loud about that reply earlier.

    For a while I used the piglatin version of the wordiedurd I wanted to use. Now it is often just wordiedurd.

    My favorite substitute for a certain standard is ; son of a sea serpant.

    Fudge is a good replacement to for something else.

    I heard a great story once about someone who was 'bad mouthing' a friend or nice acquaintance of another person. When the teller of the story stopped long enogh to catch her breath (Her tongue quit wagging)....the istener responded with "Funny you should say that. I never heard that person say anything bad about you". That'll stop folks right in their tracks.

    My dh and I say trap because when our nephew was very little and still spoke with a bit of a lisp, he once told us "My Dad drives like trap"
