    Prism: Good for you for donating to the folks who want to learn but don't have a machine. I'm sure they so appreciate having the machine available to use. The only way we learn and increase our skill is by doing so your donations are furthing this along. Bless you.

    Absolutely, and it's such great inspiration. When you work alone you can get in a 'rut' and kkep churning out the same sort of stuff; I've never really got into machine piecing and would NEVER have thought of Izy's d9p in a million years but I've really enjoyed doing it.

    This forum is like being a part of a huge quilting group, there's a real sense of community. I love sewing with my laptop at the side of me, then i here the little bing bong that someone's posted on a topic I'm watching and go have a 'look see' - it's like you guys are all here with me!
