I don't think it's ugly at all, it's quite nice in fact ! I can't see the mistakes at all. I have to agree with others, I think I would give it to charity. Some how your feelings about this quilt might come out and the baby is the real receiver of this quilt, not the mother. Make her something lovely.

I like it and Orange is the new hot colour so I am sure it will be well rec'd by whom ever ends up with it, so pass it on and let someone enjoy the love that is stitched into this quilt.

I love contemporary quilt designs, so I absolutely love it. The colors are bright and cheerful, and I like that also. My only concern would be that if you gift it, it should go to someone who loves bright colors also.

Theres no such thing as an ugly quilt........I would say maybe a quilt not quite planned lol......anyways I think your quilt is quite beautiful and yes orange isnt really a baby color but ya know what.....I really get tired of seeing the same ole thing all the time for babies.......my grandsons room is done in the monkey theme heck that orange would look great in his room so think out of the block before you decide its ugly cause it isnt......Trish

It's very bright and colorful, maybe not for a baby quilt but someone would fall in love with it. As others have said, no one knows the mistakes but you. Taking it to work and putting it on your chair is a good idea.
You are very kind to make a quilt for all the new mommies......
I've made quilts for gals I worked with but they were very plain and simple ones back then, I've improved a little in the last fifteen years.

For anyone who likes orange it would be a great quilt. I, too, think you are being to hard on yourself. I have a friend who loves orange she would love this quilt.

girl, what are you talking about? it's bright, but then I like orange and yellow together. might not be sleep inducive for a baby, but great for playtime! Add some other borders like a Round Robin and it might grow on you.
    I like it 'as is'

What's wrong with it? I think it is nice, not an orange fan but I do really like this quilt, it is bright and cheery and I think anyone would be proud to have this.
