    Your quilt is very pretty, great way to learn. And for sure, we all make mistakes, even after all these years of sewing and quilting.

    How would we learn anything if it had to be perfect on the first try? Your quilt is lovely! We always see our mistakes, non-quilters don't.

    I had to look at this quilt to see if it resembled one of mine. I have found usually the only one who sees our mistakes are us. So they aren't really mistakes they are learning steps! Nice job on this quilt, I'm sure they will love it.

    Congratulations on completing your first quilt. It is lovely. The baby is very lucky to have someone who would attempt their first quilt for them. I'm sure it will be loved. I have been quilting for years and am still learning, love it more with each quilt, hope you do too.
