Praying for your recovery. My DH has had 4 kinds and keeps on ticking(almost 81), attitude has a big part in recovery so know you will be fine. Lovely quilt too.

I'm calling this my recovery quilt because I recently found out I have breast cancer and will be having surgery on Monday, 11/4. My dear friend, Fran W, quilted if for me. I just have to hand stitch the binding to the backing and it will be all done. Had enough extra fabric I even made a pillowcase to match.
It is okay to be scared!! We all are when we hear that horrid word!!! Know we are all fighting for you and wishing you the best. Your quilt is a good snuggle blanket. Snuggle, keep warm and think positive thoughts.

Best of luck and enjoy your quilt. I was working on one the day of 9-11 and was to start radiation for breast cancer the next day. It's a special quilt for me. I had a great recovery and have been fine ever since. Maybe it's all the sewing we do and the friends we make quilting that keeps us happy? Love to everyone who's beat the odds.
