JMoore, Watson, Joe's, Wendy -- lovely finishes! Qpossum - I can't see your pics, but I imagine it is lovely also.

I've finished all the blocks but have decided to make it one block wider and longer which should end up finishing 63 x 72". Here is what I've done so far. Not too keen on the bright orange -- burnt would have been better, but I have 8 yards of this orange left and am trying to use it up.

Very nice, Belfry. I think the colors really emphasize the pattern.

My quilt is completed... sandwiched and quilted. I did the lap quilt size. I had enough fabric to make one row. Finish size 65 x65. I wished I had used a lighter blue. My blues are to close in color.

Queenbj, I love your quilt and your blue! I think it looks so much nicer with that extra row. (Unfortunately, I didn't have enough fabric to add a row.)

    Everybody's quilts look so gorgeous!

I finally got the main part of my quilt done and will post a pic once the borders are on.

Queenbarbiej, thank you for posting an example of the extra added border. I read the part of the instructions where it says a 3rd border could be added to turn the lap size into a QoV, but didn't understand how one could go about doing that. Was that 3rd border color chosen because it was close to (or possibly is?) the A fabric used in the quilt? I think it gives it a really neat pattern-blending-into-the-border look with the fabric A triangles around the edges.

I put the borders on mine. I had four HST left for some reason, so I used them in the inner border. Luckily I have enough of the dark green to use for binding, as I think that will tie it together. A little on the crazy side, but I like the colors!

I hope I did the attachment correctly this time!

Great job Quassom and Belfry...wonderful fabric choices, your selection is perfect to show the pattern. Queenbj, I love your blues and coral/pink and you can still see the pattern just fine... a fabulous finish.

I pieced another 40 HSTs last night and will do the same as Belfry and Queenbarbie and add an extra row in both directions (10 blocks).

Vadalia, I will keep my eyes open for your photo.
