Right now I have 2 cats and a schnauzer, but after the holiday projects are finished I plan on making this for me!

I have already bought most of the fabric, just need to get the background fabric and cut it out and I'm ready to go!

I took a class to learn how to do a better job matching points. The class was for a small quilt with 16 stars on it. (Lots of points!) When I wanted to lay it out to decide which star to put where, I put it on the bed, and behold, I discovered it belonged there!!! So I asked to teacher how much more I would have to do to make it fit my king size bed!!! She said, I would need 20 more star blocks, and so that's what I did, and it now rests on my bed. Wow!! Am I ever good at matching points.

I have a white King-sized comforter from "Winners" on my bed and I change the tops with the seasons/holidays. I am still contemplating my winter quilt... posted by Mamagus
this is very pretty! I do a similiar thing but my quilt top is about 63x90 so I put is sideways across the top of my king size bed. It covers the top and I love it! Like Mamagus I can change the top quilt easily!

We have four quilts which are used, in season. Some years ago I made a snowball quilt in Christmas red, green and white--it comes out of the closet at Thanksgiving and is used through January, the others were made for our anniversary years, thirty, forty and fifty, sad to say, I was too busy this year to make a special quilt to celebrate the sixtieth year we have been married. piecefully, the old one

I also have a "store bought" quilt on my bed. I have one in progress that I had hoped would be finished by the first of summer. But wasn't . I really am ashamed not to have a nice one on my bed considering that I do long arm quilting for others but don't finish my own.
