    I know the curves would be hard to trace with this, but would a tracing wheel work just as good? I don't hand quilt, but when seeing your image, that was the first thing I thought of.

    It's not so difficult to trace curves, even small ones. It is harder with the Hera marker. The tracing wheels I know have little toothed wheels and that leaves quilt big holes in the fabric. I would not use it, it seems to be a little dangerous for the fine woven fabrics.
