My hubby has no interest in helping me and I wouldn't even consider letting him help or use a cutter!

My husband is essential to my quilting. He always asks if I have enough money in my quilting account. If not, he puts more in. He helps choose colors, sometimes blocks and always helps with layout. He is my driver and always asking if I need to go to the fabric store. He comes into the stores and tells me what he likes. I usually buy what he suggests and almost always use that fabric first. When we travel, he even asks if there is a LQS nearby that I want to visit. He is my biggest fan.

25 yrs ago when I found my sewing scissor in the junk drawer my sewing/quilting room was put off limits.Today my husband will stand in the doorway of my sewing/quilting room and just stare and say you really like to quilt.

My husband works hard to make the money I spend on quilting. He also takes me to any quilt store I want to go to. He is very supportive of whatever I want to do. So that is good enough for me.

Mine will help if I ask him too. He does help around the house and cook on occasion, Since we are both retired due to disability he has taken up junk collecting and taking things apart for scrap metal. He enjoys that as mucn as I do my sewing so I cannot say anything. He says at least his hobby makes a littel money. lol

My DH is more artistic than I am and he help draw templates, patterns or anything else that I need. He's also very handy to have around when something is not working right or if I need something moved or raised or lowered. Don't know what I'd do without him!
