Just one question, did you quilt as you go with this quilt? :?: Just wondering how you manoeuvred the quilt for the pebbling. Thank you.
Bizzie, I hand quilted the little blocks with just the block and the batting. When finished, I put the top together, then added backing to it. I then machine quilted in the ditch to hold the backing on. The pebbling was easy since it is only on the outside border. It didn't have to go very far into the machine.

Aww...you mean, I CAN'T just go to Disney???? Well, the same group that worked together to do the Dear Jane is planning to do another quilt together, so I'll jump into that one. Its " Affairs of the Heart"..we'll start it in June of this year. You can find the thread here on the board....come join us!

On the scallops...those scared me to death! Actually..search for scallops and binding...I did a tute for them. Its listed on the Jane Stickle topic section.

Thank you all for the lovely compliments...Last night I just sat and stared at it...amazed that I finished it. It was great fun and I learned so much! Things that used to scare me don't anymore...well, not so much anyway. I think every quilter should make this quilt at least once....so come on girls.... thread your needles!!!

Patti, it is beautiful!! Because you didn't do it in the Trip Around the World format of the original, it looks like a bowl of luscious designer chocolates! It makes me want to scoop up a handful and pop them in my mouf!! :P

It is absolutely yummy!! And your quilting is awesome. You ROCK girlfriend!!

Beautiful!! Did you use a particular book or pattern? I've heard stories about the patterns for this design not being accurate and you have to do a lot of figuring on your own?
