    The kittens and the chickens are definitely from the 30's. What a treasure you have there! Every one in the pictures is so special and on second look, it's like pages from a quilt book. Maybe he'd enjoy reading these comments so he realizes how happy he made you (and us vicariously). Maybe he and your aunt will get married and you can finish off one of the wedding ring tops for them LOL. Best wishes to them and to you too, a win-win-win situation.
