I have a large clock, the clock on my cell phone a clock on the computer in my sewing room and I have cable so I can check the time on the guide. I could sew forever and neglect my family and pets otherwise. When I sew it is like I go into a whole other world.

i have a clock on the cable box... i find if i am sewing or reading at night, i do best with the tv on, because i look at the time when the show changes...

otherwise, if the sewing is flowing, or the book is good (or i'm enjoying this board) i look up and its 300 am....not good when the alarm goes of @ 430!

I didn't have a clock in my sewing room and I would log on to the ocmputer to see what time it was and then didn't get off computer...So put clock in room last week so I can stay off the computer and sew away

I replaced a clock face with one where I machine embroidered some colourful spools of thread around the centre. I have three miniature sewing machines which are all clocks on a high shelf for decoration. I have to admit, though, that I hardly ever look at any of the clocks!

I have a Neon Coca Cola clock in my studio and I noticed the other day it was an hour off so that tells you how much I look at it!

If I didn't have clocks or my watches around, I'd be in complete pandemonium! I teach 30+ students music lessons (piano, guitar, and voice) in my home and I have to keep track of those 30 and/or 60 minutes booked by each student! As I quilt in snatches because of my hectic schedule, I have to keep track of my time! It would be so nice to not ever worry about it and stick with an activity as long as my interest is there, but until I stop working, that's just a dream! The only time I'm completely free to sew, read, etc., until I drop is the middle of the night and I have to sleep some time! Wlee

I have 2 clocks and a TV. I usually have the TV on so I can keep up with time by the programs.
