Project Runway day
#102
I read that on tonight's episode, the designers have to use pictures from their own past as design inspiration. That should be interesting.
I enjoy seeing other people sew to deadline, as I manage to do every day. (I'm a longarm quilter with a very prolific client base, and about a hundred of their quilts pass through my workroom every year, bless them all!) So I really love the tick-tock-tick-tock aspect of Runway. They have to get ideas, sketch, shop within budget, draft patterns, sew, fit and alter all in one or two days!!?? Yikes! PRESSURE!!
I must admit that I would have the MOST TROUBLE limiting my shopping time in Mood to 30 minutes! What fresh hell is that? Aaaarrgghhh!
I love this season! "Every inch. Every cut. Every stitch. Counts." Just like with us quilters! Yeah!

For a fun twist on Project Runway check out this blog, http://kat-knits.blogspot.com/
It almost makes me want to buy a doll(but not a barbie) and play along next season.
