Cheese your wall hanging is gorgeous, love the colors
HAV your PP blocks are beautiful, so much fun seeing the same block in different colors
All2 pieces so glad everything worked out so you could have one eye done and soon the other.
I was misinformed by my Insurance company and my therapy bill was declined. They did take my supplement but I should have been told I had to go through Medicare to provide an in network clinic that accepts Medicare then my insurance would pay the rest. So frustrating and stressful that we decided it was best if I forget about therapy for the winter.

This blocks is stunningly beautiful. nice job
Beautiful wall hanging, I love it. thanks for sharing with us.
The leaves here in western Pa are not as beautiful as in the past. The colors were not as vivid. It seems like we went from summer to winter really quick. I love the fall but do not look forward to the really cold days and nights. I will get my blocks in the mail this weekend. They should arrive on time. Although I had a customer call me today and told me he just got a late statement from June 5th. This statement traveled the really long route.
Beautiful blocks Hav! So happy that you and DH are on the mend.
My latest project is this wallhanging, I just got it off of the longarm yesterday and finished the binding this morning. My latest resolution was to start machine sewing the binding down instead of hand stitching the back down, this worked great on this project. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the binding was completed. On gifted quilts I will still hand stitch the backing down.

So many beautiful blocks! So many wonderful lives being lived. You all are an amazing group of gals!
I have not posted any pictures yet but I am having fun with the few quiet moments I get to do anything related to quilting. As the biggest procrastinator in the group, I still have plans get my blocks in on time. Let's hope this year is no different. I will post pictures after they are all mailed in. Half the blocks already in Janice's hands! That's amazing, ya'll.
Sewbizgirl, thank you for offering to help those of us with too many balls in the air at one time.
My pup goes to the LSU vet hospital to get a CAT scan. After going to a bunch of different vets, it appears that she may have a cancerous tumor in her nose. The doctor that diagnosed nose polyp did the best he could with the xrays that they did but come to find out they were not dental xrays. Long story short, her appetite is fine and her energy levels are normal. Blood work is good, too. She snorts and has clear mucous and that's it so far. I will find out more on Nov 11.
BTW, I cannot stand the idea of losing her. But the second I think she is any kind of pain or quality of life diminishment, I will not let her suffer.
Have any of you had a dog with something on the top of their nose that interfered with their quality of life? Right now it looks like a swollen vein. It is not on her cheeks which would have made doctors tell me "tooth abscess" a long time ago. The vein swelling is a recent addition to her symptoms. It doesn't hurt her at all and loves for me to scratch her nose as usual. She is a chihuahua.... very quiet, rarely barks, and loves driving back and forth with me on my journeys. Loves to watch me play with fabric, too.

Ibex, you sound so sad and working hard to be positive but also acknowledging the possible fragility of your four-footed friend. I can do nothing except send ((hugs)) and prayers for peace as you spend precious time with your little pal. The fact that there is no pain is marvelous and a blessing for you both.
If you have not made a block for me. Feel free to skip it. I will make an "extra" that will count as coming from you. That would mean at least one less for you to press through when your mind and heart is else where.

Here’s one for Lisa. A note to Lisa. I tried to find or make a turkey to put in the center for you but tonight my best effort wasn’t enough. So I put another center in so if you have a turkey or some turkey fabric you could appliqué him into the center. The hardest part of no JoAnns 15 minutes away is that I can’t run down there any time I want to. And I have absolutely no fabric with turkeys on it! And that fabric is a beautiful shade of orange. Not dingy brown like it looks on my end of the post.

Good morning, Roses.
GramE, lovely block for Lstew.
All2pieces, good to hear from you. I hope the second eye goes as well as the first. Rest up and heal.
Ibex, I empathize about your darling pup. Big hugs for you in this difficult and uncertain time. I hope you get some useful answers from the CAT scan.
Cheese, your wall hanging is wonderful. Machine binding is swift and makes it secure.
Terriamn, I’m sorry you’ve had difficulty with your insurance. Insurance is too complicated in this country. I wish you well. Take care of yourself.
I had plans to sit with a friend who is unwell, the woman gifting me all her stash. Unfortunately she’s having trouble breathing so she’s back in the hospital. She might be able to come home tomorrow. Today, instead, I will be cutting scraps into usable pieces.
Hope you have a nice day.

Good Morning all. Beautiful fall block GramE!
Thank you Janice!
Yuck today we make the trip to Mexico for more dental work, Shouldn’t be to bad this time just two crowns removed and start the process for new ones.
Ibex I feel your pain and love for your fur baby, they are so special. We did go through something similar with our boxer. She had a cancerous growth removed from her side. Years later they said she had another tumor in her throat and we had to remove it or she wouldn’t be able to eat. Didn’t happen our poor baby passed away the day before her surgery was scheduled. But the first surgery gave her another 5 years to be loved and cared for.
Thank you Janice!

Hav4 - oh my - I looked again and again at all your blocks until I could see they were the same pattern. Loved the color combinations you used to bring it together. Thank you for my two. Great job'
Cheese - your wall hanging came out wonderful - so cheery
If we are not going to doctors for ourselves, than its for our DH and loved ones - or the Vet. Seems we do spend more time going to appointments as we age.
Terri - I was thinking of you as I entered Hobby Lobby yesterday. The cutting line was a bit backed up but a nice lady was chatting (softly) and kept my mind centered.
Pulled some patriotic fabric out and figuring out measurements for the 5" panels.

Hi everyone, I can surely relate to the pet illness issues. People who don't have pets don't realize how much a part of the family they are. I still have dreams about my pets who have died. It's like they come to "visit" me and I love it. I still miss them all. We still have 2 cats and adore them! My husband is the biggest cat lover I ever knew. But so am I.
I want a dog but with all the trips to see our grands we're thinking maybe not. Barney lived to be 16 and he was such a love.
Terri- can't you locate someone in network? Insurance stuff is the pits!!
I'm shampooing a carpet today. Fun fun
