    What good looking blocks, ladies!

LOL, I think I am the only one who doesn't care for machine embroidery. I love hand embroidery... so charming. Just not the machine kind. I usually say 'no embroidery please' on my notes.

I think I'm the only quilter I know who doesn't like machine emb. on quilts... and will never be tempted to buy one of those expensive emb. machines.

nanakathy many thanks for my star block. I love the polka dot yellow with the blue. It’s going to be beautiful in the table runner. Beautiful on point.

i didn’t know some boomers don’t like appliqué. I hope all of you who I did appliqué for are ok with it. If you don’t like applique private message me. I will make sure your block is pieced. If I’ve already made you an applique I can make a 2nd pieced block for you if I have enough fabric left.

    Libster great block for Jaba

Nanakathy love all your blocks, especially the one for me. The oranges are perfect.

Pamela MJP’s block is a pattern called Puss in The Corner

MJP - I love your applique' blocks! I'm a newbie so I'm talking without any experience but so far the real essence of the BOOM to me is seeing the awesome results produced by others based on their unique eye for design, fabric collaboration and skill set. As much as I want to control the results (don't all quilters have this tendency?) with secondary fabrics and design guidance I think the best blocks are those I would never have imagined. I'm encouraged to even try doing things I've not yet attempted - in fact, my next block is an applique! Wish me luck

Libster, I love my block! Thank you, and I agree it looks awesome on point. I'm planning on putting them together on point, but you never know.

It looks like it is Wyoming's turn to get hammered with snow. Snowpocolypse is supposed to begin early tomorrow morning, our district cancelled school for tomorrow earlier today, it was 54 degrees at the time the did it. We rarely have snow days, so we'll see what actually happens, but in the meanwhile I am very excited to have a unexpected day to sew. I haven't had much free time lately, so hopefully 24 hours from now I'll have some blocks to show! Hopefully I'll also have heat and power!
