But thanks for the idea - now where would I get to meet one?
I don't know where you'll find one, but if you do, do tell   or maybe not, my wonderful husband may not appreciate my new quilting approach lol

I'm lookin back [not really sure who it was....but more than 1 of you might have one] someone mentioned having a "sweetie"? Is that the Sweet 16 tin lizzie?? or something?? I wqas at Road to California in Jan and sat down in front of two machines - one was by Tin Lizzie and the other --I want to say a HQ of some sort - they were both 16" and they were being demo'd on just a small [maybe 4x4'] table they seemed to be pretty user friendly and easy enough to use without a huge frame. Certainly cant do it now.... but since you gals are bringing up the whole subject of long and midarm quilting - what are your views on quilting with one of those machines [without the large space consuming frame?]

It's me, cre8, that has an HQ16 Sit down (Sweet 16). There was a thread recently that I posted what I thought about mine: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-106911-1.htm#2745437.

If I had access to renting a big set up, I would still like to try one, but this was the best option for me from the size point of view, and cost. As it was, I had to raid the bit of money my Dad left me to get it, but I think he would have told me to do that, if he was here.

Chance would be a fine thing Candi - I would certainly undertake to let you all know if he has brothers! LOL.

Haha Lesley.... I didn't do that search! I was scared to, so I just googled Forbes wealthiest list since I figured that was a much "safer" bet. I think that you would have a better chance meeting one at a gold course or yacht club than a quilt shop though..., but IF you DO meet one at a quilt shop, you can bet THAT would be a good match!

I got my Razzle Dazzle thread in today! Yippee!!!...Its soooo purdy!!...Here is a pic. Now I have to make up my mind, which of the 3 to use...or use a couple of them or...all three! And..how I'm going to attach it to the block.

I foresee some test sewing going on...
