Don't you just love that thread? I went to the LQS this afternoon after a Dr. appt. & bought 2 more spools - yellow & light aqua blue. Now I have 7 spools to play with. I have decided to take out the block that is done so poorly & re-do it. Then I'll post the block.

I just couldn't wait....so I hand embroidered the block last night. Mixed review for me- I love the look and it IS possible to just sit and sew with a hand needle (cross stitch needle) but you need to cut and use just short lengths at a time.

My hands are so rough and horrible that I keep shredding the thread. I told DH that I might have to wait for the weather to warm up so my hands heal (cold weather and my darn fingers seem to crack open- I hate it AND it hurts!). OR....I might try wearing those latex gloves as I have a big box of those that I wear when doing my nursing duties for DH.

Anyway...here is the block...
