my initial impression was #2.
Perhaps seeing them with a full view may give a different impression. But I agree with the comments about where it is going to be used. Are you keeping it or is it for someone else. What is the room decor, and do you want it striking, or very soft in appearance?

Your quilt is beautiful. I like border #1 better. It doesn't take away from the rest of the quilt like #2 does.
