Used to fish when I was a young girl but now I raise fish. African Cichlads. As I call them my "Chicklets"...

Hi there all you lucky fishing people. I used to fish so often with my mum and dad when I was young. My mum would get oysters off the rocks while I was catching the bait and my dad would be fishing. Talk about a team effort and we had so much fun. Sometimes dad would use the yabby pump in the sand and when he pulled it up I would put my arm full length into the hole and pull up anywhere up to about fifteen yabbies at a time. They were great bait. If the tide had not gone out I would hold my nose with my left hand and dive under the water to pull them out. "Those were the days". You have all brought back wonderful memories and tears. I thank you all for that. lol from

That sounds like Arkansas. I love to fish only if they are biting. I prefer to fish in a stocked pond with an old cane pole. My dad used to make them for us when we were kids.

If I caught something like that I would faint. What did you do with it?

REALLY? Oh my I love to play bingo and fish (sometimes). My problem is there are too many things I like to do and work gets in the way. :)

I love to flyfish, we went on Saturday and had a great day!
So in summer, fishing comes first. Have several trips planned for July, August and September! Woo Hooo!

I love to fish. Went fishing over the week-end and caught some nice walleyes. They were very good in the frying pan. But I was thinking about quilting when I was out in the boat.

Holy mackerel, fishnlady!!! If I caught one like that, I might be too afraid to fish anymore. Just by looking at the head/face of your fish scared me!!! Yikes!!! What kind of fish was it??? And a good fight???
