Hi Rosy, my hubby and I are out of town with our RV group. Last Thursday through Saturday we were watching a basketball tournament that our local college was having. Needless to say, have been very busy.

Is anyone but me doing the Bonnie Hunter Mystery this year?

We will be here until Thursday.

    HI All--

I try to check in daily, but don't always have a chance to reply to everything. I think of you all often and am missing being more involved with the new quilt along...but at the same time am enjoying this season of life. Hope all have a blessed day!

Hi Everyone, Rosy, sometimes the thread just slows down, we all get busy doing stuff and sometimes it's very busy and there's lots of chatter.. we're all here ..just lurking sometimes..
I've been busy doing a lot of PT and a lot of sorting scraps.. the weather here is very depressing, it's been raining every day with just little bits of sun here and there..
I just wish I felt more inspired with the 30"s quilt-Along...so many wanted to do this and now we're limping along.. Who can explain it ?.. I helped several that PM'd me then they all disappeared ending up on other sites doing the quilt..I will never do that again... Oh well, lesson learned... Time for my excercises & stretching..no Bingo tonite..watching the debate instead...
    Have a good day everyone...H.

I will watch the debate tonight too Anne. Today DH & I loaded the dining table, the leaves for it, & 6 of the 8 chairs in the PU. We then packed up the sectional, & DMIL's buffet on the trailer. I have 2 boxes packed of the stuff that was in that buffet but still have at least another one to box up. I am so tired right now. We did use the dolly & were real careful. We will take it to Brady tomarrow, but have an appointment to get the windshield fixed on my Sequoia on Friday. So this will be another fast trip!

I know NS, I am just stirring the pot lol....and BTW I found large noodles for dumplings by Manishewitz. I made a huge pot of green split peas and lintels soup and put those in with diced ham and seasonings and herbs it is so good
    Take care, everyone

Anne, you mean to say that they started here to do the quilt and then went elsewhere to continue? That doesn't make a lick of sense to me, oh well.....I can only belong to one quilt board and I consider this one the best one....one knitting site and facebook.....I couldn't get much done if I belonged to many boards. I know the mood leaves here and there but why wouldn't you come back to where you started....well I enjoy this group and I will not leave you Anne Dear lol.

Put on some music and sort you fabics and try not to get depressed with the weather. I find music always does the trick....love you..

Sounds like fun Jeanie.. I find I don't much care for mystery quilts because I have to see what it is first lol. When I find a mystery that I think I would like I just copy the instructions and wait until it is finished to see if I want to do it lol
