Hi all....sharing the checkerboard and matching game with you...I made fabric checkers for the checkerboard and put them in a little pocket on the back. I used fusible fleece for the checkerboard and then backed the backing with Decor Bond. These two added some rigidity to the piece. I SID around the outside of of cboard and the four corner squares. For the matching game I used a layer of Decor Bond on one side of the fabric and HeatNBond non sewable to the backing fabric.

OK, that is so cute, lots of work too. I love the bird hanger; I was at a quilt show and they had hangers with interchangeable tops so you could match the top to the subject of your quilt.

Bev, I'm exhausted with all your moving but I think if I moved I'd finally get my kitchen cupboards cleaned out LOL. Who needs 3 collanders or 10 ladles, and why do I have 50 lids to only 15 containers????? And don't get me started on my clothes closet--will I ever be a size 6 again? Hmm, wonder if I can convince MrJan we need to move so I have to clean?

Happy Leap Day, ladies--an extra day to sew this year!
