I waited 3 weeks for him to come back, then I boxed up about 1/4 of it, thought why am I doing this? and am waiting. The one wall is lined with boxes now and my "stuff" is in totes all over the floor.
You are a much nicer mom then me!

I am proud of my mess! Ok so I do break down and clean it up every once in a while, when I don't have a project to work on. The rest of the house is clean and tidy as they come, but my sewing room? It is like excepting a carpenter to make a house with out creating saw dust in the process. Your SIL just needs to get over it and your right if she isn't creative she has no clue. :-D

I don't gasp at mine, but I am embarrassed at times. I'm not talking about the project mess-it's stuff that hasn't gotten put away, etc. I'm still working on last years challenge of organizing my sewing room. I just can't stop making quilts long enough to finish it!!!:)

Love it! A room is only so big and I found it quite easy to out grow mine, quickly. I tidy up when I can't stand it, usually after a project is done. Gasping has become a way of life.
