I either like it quiet so I can think or I like country music.

I listen to Judge shows too. The TV is on, I don't really watch, but listening is good. News sometimes.

I usually have HGTV on. I love David and Genevieve. Not to mention househunters international.

BBC Radio 4, a wonderful eclectic mix of talk programmes. Or equally wonderful silence. Or the not-so-wonderful sound of me swearing on those days when nothing will go right (-:

Depends. If my daughter is up, I'll put different music on, usually kids music and we'll dance around every few minutes. Helps me get some extra exercise too.

I love to listen to books on my Kindle (text to speech) at night. I've "read" tons of books that way, and I feel productive.

I'm not a huge TV person so that's not often on.

I listen to audiobooks. I find it very relaxing and when I make a boo-boo, part of my mind is occupied and I don't get so upset with myself. Whoever is part of the book is having a harder time than me, so I relax and figure out how to fix my mistake!

Great Question! I've enjoyed reading the answers.

I listen to unabridged books on CD-starting with all the Jane Austen novels. Right now I am listening to "Anna Karena" by Tolstoy. For music: its the Blues, early Jazz and Swing.

EASY LISTENING MUSIC ON TV. Volumn low, just enough for me to hear. It plays the oldies "when I was a girl."
