I have done practically everything that doesn't take a degree or is legal. Now, my favorite job is being retired.

I had three daughters and one son, all married now with families of their own. Over the years have enjoyed my grandchildren so much. The ones that live here are growing up fast, 27, 17, and two that are 15. The younger ones live in Katy, TX and are 12, 8 and 6 yrs. The ones in Katy will be here this weekend for a visit, can't wait. They moved there after hurricane Katrina, we miss them so much. I was married to the greatest guy for almost 52 yrs, he is now deceased.

I worked for the federal government for 21 yrs, and am retired for 11 years.

WOW!!!! You have really been busy over the years. Good for you.

I remember whenI was a kid, I helped a neighbor shell butter beans, she gave me a few nickels that I used for candy or to go to the movies. My sisters and brothers would collect hangers, I guess to sell. We used to go to the neighborhood movie often, so it must have been really inexpensive. I do remember going to the park pool and it was only 18 cents to get in. I'm afraid I am dating myself.
    Ha!Ha!

I oversee spacecraft builds and launches. Also did spacecraft technology. Does that make me a rocket scientist? Maybe... but the bottom line is that quilting and engineering have a lot in common.
