I am sure getting a lot of laughs out of this thread. I have found tho that going to some of the sites the stuff is deleted, so we can't see what you all are laughing about. Some of them are in really sorry looking shape and asking huge amounts and some aren't all there and asking even more. Why do some people think that we as quilters and sewing machine collectors think we will pay whatever it is they are asking? They definitely must be smoking something, but what?

Join the club! We 'antiques' love our vintage machines. LOL Actually, I prefer the title 'vintage' for myself =

Cute display of the 350 toy machines with a very pretty quilt. My favorites are these two:

The toy machines are cute, but I'm not really in the market to spend money buying a whole museum!

Found this one, and it's a nicely written ad, but I want a picture! For triple digits, there should be several. Not to mention, I could probably find find 10 sales to his 1 for a much cheaper Japanese 15.

I haven't even bothered to look and see what the first one is-whatever it is, it's not worth that! The second one had better be gold plated for the price they want. And why is it that the more they want, the less likely they are to post pictures? C'mon, people, it's not that hard!

It is only $700.00 cdn and is extra special because it comes with that special adhesive called masking tape to hold stuff in place!

Well..... here is one for $900.

It is different than any sewing machine I have seen before. It is really old and may be one of the first ones -
