I vote for #3. I carries out the delicacy of the inner piecing. It's a gorgeous quilt!

I ike 1. It stops the action of the quilt and brings out the beauty of the center.

Number one gets my vote. It adds depth to the colors....they all seem darker. All three are beautiful. You really couldn't pick wrong.

Wow, when I posted this I wasn't expecting to get such an overwhelming positive response. I read every post and I want to thank everyone who took the time to look and give their opinion. I will definitely post again when I get the top complete. The main part is all together now, except for a block that went in the wrong way and needs to be fixed.
