Missy, very happy to see you.

I went to the gym today and walked 1/2 mile. Wow! At my cardio rate. My body is already sore but I am pysched!

Carrie-take your meds and get better. You also, Tru!

Everybody hunker down, supposed to be more snow...

What happens when the this month's weight loss challenge is over? What are we supposed to do? And, God forbid, we lose, how do we send the winner their fat quarters? I just have never done this before and I want to make sure I do everything right.

Thanks so much.

We are going into a real arctic freeze starting now, I suppose. But by Friday morning (just my luck, it's my grocery shopping day) we are supposed to be a real deep doo doo as far as icy cold weather is concerned. I am thinking home made chili and crackers or hot rolls - anything that'll warm our innards. Have a good one. Edie

My size 22 pants that I bought two months ago have the slide latches and zipper to hold them up. Today, I am able to pull them off without undoing the fasteners!

A woman's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months, yet she had stayed by his bedside every single day.

One day, when he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer.

As she sat by him, he whispered, eyes full of tears, 'You know what? 'You have been with me all through the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business failed, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side.

When we lost the house, you stayed right here. When my health started failing, you were still by my side... You know what Martha?'

'What dear?' she gently asked, smiling as her heart began to fill with warmth.

'I'm beginning to think you're bad luck' ....

That is awesome!!!

I loved it when mine pants did that. I have some capri's that bearly hang on my hips, no jumping or running when I have those on.
