I do not actually hide my purchases from my DH. I just do not always tell him how much I spent. Not that I spend that much anyway. He would really not mind. He loves that I quilt and is always bragging on me.

We went on vacation this year and he actually pointed out quilt shops!!!!and stopped for them too!!!

I do not hide fabric...just don't tell my hubby about it. He usually says "if you needed, buy it". I like to purchase my fabric on sale and get the best deal.

I ahve a prince too. I don't hide anything from him. He doesn't go with me shopping for fabric but I show him everything. He is suuportive and never says I have too much. I reciprocate and don't say anything when he buys fishing stuff or hunting stuff.

I don't hide my stash. He knows how much fabric I have but doesn't really care. I pay for all my quilting stuff and always have. When we travel, he asks me if there is a quilt shop I need to stop at. I too am married to a prince.

I have one of those 'Prince' type husbands too. In fact he finds quilt shops in new towns that we are in and then comes in and suggests fabric for me to buy, usually upping the amount of fabric to buy. He is very supportive of my quilting. :-D

My husband would never wear a striped tie with a plaid shirt and a houndstooth suit(he'd never wear a houndstooth suit). Therefore, quilts are beyond him. He is also not a keeper. He doesn't keep any piece of paper that can be duplicated if needed. But he has kept me who keeps everything and has fallen in love with quilting. I do not hide my stash from him and he encourages me though it is unfathomable. He is a keeper.
