Yvonne...love your layout! and your colors! I hated working with the rick rack too.... I used the fusible 1/4 inch bias on part of mine and rick rack on part also.... quilting over the bias was easy....quilting over the rick rack...the foot kept pulling up the points and I would have to stop and lift the foot and lay them back down...what a pain! LOL

So many pretty quilts out of one pattern....it always amazes me the different quilts you see! Very pretty ones too!

Yvonne, your layout really suits your fabric choices. Very pretty.

All of these have been really nice.
I wasn't able to join this as I found out about it to late to pull everything together, maybe next time.
Does anyone know if there is a Mystery Quilt online for Superbowl Sunday?
I know there are alot of us Superbowl Widows out there and it would be fun.
If we found out one now we'd have time to pull materials and tools together for it.
Maybe there might even be someone on the board who would know how to pull one of these together and lead it for us. We could always meet in the board chat room and such..
    How about it Any takers?

    Beachlady, Patsy,
Thank you so much for confirming my layout choice. I have a very hard time making these hard decisions and am always second guessing myself. Wishy-washy! That's me!

There was one other layout I really liked but it would have had 4 strips of rickrack meeting in one corner. That confirmed that it was a wrong choice even if it did look really great! Sigh!

I'm so impressed that Patsy has her quilt all finished. I am just hoping to finish mine by the end of the week.

    :P

The lump potential has definitely been in my mind, so it's interesting to hear you complain about them as well. My quilt is now officially WIP because it's back to work for me on Monday and thus ends my quilting holiday.

Thanks Yvonne and Patsy for posting your quilts!!!

Patsy - you impress me - it looks absolutely lovely and you have it quilted! Way to go!!!!!

Yvonne - great layout choice for your fabric! Cant wait to see it with its borders on!

My quilt is going to get finished at the end of the month now too... I have finished putting the arcs on - and now I am applying the bias by hand - I go away on Wednesday so I am taking the hand sewing to do whilst on vacation. This has been such a fun project!!! Thanks for you encouragment!
