    Thank you :) I would give you the pattern but there isn't one. It's just totally winging it--sewing scraps in random directions and watching it come to life and then trimming down to the size square you like ;)

    We must be twins separated at birth !! I feel the same way. Love scrappy, but I think they are so much more attractive and "orderly" this way. I've made many lap quilts using these types of blocks. Am I compulsive or what !!!!

    I've not seen this type of block, so I have to ask. Do you top stitch the pieces and do raw edges show or does each little piece have seams? You can tell I'm pretty new at the different processes of making quilts.

    Each one has a seam...I just sewed them together on the sewing machine in random directions, some overlapped more than others and there was some trimming involved but it's pretty easy and stress-free sewing :)
