It is a bit confusing but then I found the old board confusing at first. IMHO that's no reason to leave a truly great and helpful community. It may take me a while but I'll get it all figured out....sooner or later! I do like the looks of the new board, there may be a glitch or two but isn't there always in whatever you're doing? I don't know that I have ever made anything that went perfectly the first (or second or even third sometimes!) attempt?

Time time time and practice. That's how I learned to quilt and that's how I will navigate this site. To admin, thnaks for allyour work and help. You are miracle workers to have put this all together.

Diana Lynne, I hope the powers that be take visual note of your post. It is appearing to me - and, I guess, everyone else - in book antiqua font. I would suggest fonts with serifs be considered by our board as they are easier on the human eye to process and read. Serif fonts may not be as clean, modern, or pretty as sans serifs, but the use of them might be helpful to all members who are experiencing eyestrain and headaches.

Right! I kept at it and have finally figured out how it works. That is pretty good for a 80+ quilter. Lets bite the bullet
    and get with the program.

I am having issues like everyone else but I agree we need to give it a chance and not give up. It is getting easier every time I log on and some of the new features are pretty cool. Since this is the best board I have found I am in for the long haul.

As for people leaving to go to other boards I checked a lot of boards out before I came here, I'd interact and ask questions and no one answered me. Here I feel like everyone's kind of like my extended family that I look forward to talking to each day. If some leave I think we will see them come back because there's not much out there.
    I'll take a cheat sheet!

Last night I was not too happy. Then I remembered when I worked, there were DAILY changes. So glad not to be working anymore. Then I remembered when I first joined the board, searching around was a lot of fun & brought lots of new surprises. And maybe I was getting a tad bored because it became too familiar. This morning I see changes I like and know as I navigate it will get better & be just fine. So far my favorite way to search is:

I am one of those who doesn't like change, but, I am finding I can still enjoy enough features of the board right now and am learning more every time. I think with time those of us who stick it out will be glad we did.

Quite frankly, I don't understand the negative attitudes. I find it reasonably easy to negotiate and the only major difference is that the new fonts make the sight look a bit more sophisticated. So all I can comment on otherwise is to commend the hard work. With time, any glitches can be ironed out and many thanks in keeping progressive and not letting the forum become stale.

The bright white may be contributing to the headaches, also the extra time we are taking to work out the new board. It will take time to learn how to navigate.
