Hi everyone... just popping in to say "Congrats!" to the new grandma! The baby is gorgeous and perfect. Maybe they got the due date wrong? He looks fully ready to be here.

Also TG, love your quilts! I thought the second one was a double (or triple?) Irish chain with friendship stars. It looks so cozy.

Hi Barb. Hi gang. I do want to participate this year. Sending PM today. I participated in the birthday swap in 2014. My how time passes. Since I am cutting through plenty of fabrics currently, I will cut for this swap also... 35 packages of 50 charms. I look forward to participating and exchanging charms with everyone.

As an FYI, most of my fabrics are modern prints in lots of saturated colors plus some low volume and gray prints. There will be some other charms thrown in the mix (maybe solids, tonals) but I am basically modern and I love all colors.

This year I proclaimed that I am going to sew from my stash but.... for some reason I keep adding to the stash. Does that count towards my proclamation to sew from my stash? I mean once this new fabric is added to the other fabrics, doesn't it become stash? But I have been cost conscience about my added purchases, $1.00 FQ sales and remnant purchases at my LQS.

Anyhow looking for a year of fun giving and receiving.

There is no grandchild like the first. Oh, you will love them all but the first will always have just a little bigger bite of your heart. He looks absolutely perfect for being a month early! Congratulations Grammy from a Grammie.

No need to justify stash to us..... we completely understand! Bargains are bargains and are difficult to pass by. Your contributions to the swap will be good for me, the traditionalist.
