MonaG & Bibliostone, all of your blocks are fantastic. The Windblown square is perfect for Pamela's fabric. The blocks using the lazy angle ruler are super. I will put that ruler on my list of things to get.

SBG, your quilts are very nicely done!! I still have my 9Ps waiting for me to sew together. Hopefully soon!!

Wow, Mona! You have to have the patience of Job to get all of that right! Another "hats off" one! Well done.

Awesome, Mona. It's totally 3-dimensional!

TravelingGramma, congrats on the Husquavarna! Hope it's a good one that will last you a long time.

Mona! Two great blocks, I'm going to have to look into those rulers

TG, sorry to hear about the machine issues but it sounds like your new machine will get the job done.

Have had Machine issues lately. My 12 yr old Babylock was donated back to dealer for parts. I got tired of putting money into it each year. I dropped my portable Brother and it is totally off center (no way to make a 1/4" forget about a scant 1/4"). My old Bernina's are still going but too heavy for me to carry to weekly quilt group.
So I now own a new to me Husqvarna Viking Emerald 118. Got through Craigslist - and it is in excellent condition (used by a quilter) and I am back in business.
Maybe I should but the bubble wrap around my machines too!!
Bibliostone, where might you go on your road trip? Lovely blocks for PamelaOry and sbg.

Not that I mind going, it just doesn't fit in with the timeline I had in my head!

For PamelaOry is a block called Windblown Square. I have a hard time mixing stripes, dots, and patterns together so I hope this works for you. The second block is for Sewbizgirl. I don't know the name of it so please tell me if you know it.
Mona G, you’re on a terrific roll! All the blocks are very nice.

I’m behind a couple of days on posting pix. Dh gave me his darned cold and I spent the entire weekend in bed. Now I’ve got to get up and get on with life. Happily, all that’s left is a little irritating cough, you know, the kind that tickles the throat.
And we have some exciting news. My son has “popped the question” to his girlfriend of 3 years and she’s accepted. She and her 12 year old daughter come as a package deal so it looks like I’ll be a grandmother after all! Ok, a step-grandmother but that’ll work for me! Wedding probably will be next year. He’s so happy!!

MonaG, awesome job on the maze quilt

Terri sorry about your machine problems, but hopefully your new machine will make up for that

Janice congrats on your impending grandmotherhood, family is about much more then blood. I have beloved family that don't share any blood.
