I love all animals, but prefer dogs. Have my little toy poodle "Kokoa" for 16 years.

I love most animals, but I do favor Dogs over Cats..

I had two persians once and the male sprayed my house and I couldnt get rid of the smell, so dont want to go there again but they are beautiful cats...

Just one cat. I used to have about 5 cats at any one time.

Funny though....my cat wouldn't bother the bird...my dog on the other hand is the rodent control at my house and wouldn't do well with the bird. My "neighborhood found" rabbit will attack my cat (outdoors instincts I'm sure, while my cat could care less about him), and my rabbit wants to snuggle my dog, which again would have him for lunch!

I had a cat growing up that I LOVED, don't know what happened to him, I think he might have been killed. Same thing happened to a dog much later in my life. I lost 13lbs when he got killed. No more for me, my grangkids have a puppy tho.
Who is it that said "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?" Animals give us so much.
