Agree. I used to tell my students "Don't put it on the Internet or in an e-mail if you wouldn't want to see it on the front page of tomorrow's paper".

I also believe if someone wants to find you they will. Two big dogs, big old sweetie labradors. Bad barks but their tails are wagging the whole time. Not very scary! We have guns too. I would hate to think I would have to shoot a fellow quilter!

No, I haven't been worried about it.

No. With the information 'superhighway' so readily accessible, if someone wants to find you, they'll find you.

There is a site, can't remember the name that posted your public info, so curiosity got the best of me, I went to the site and posted my name and waaalaaa there I was, map to my house and all my address info, included my phone number, even had a picture of my driveway and I was like how in the heck or when did they do this......

with utility companys gives out your info...

I wish I knew who took that picture of my home, jeep and driveway to my house, cause I thinking lawsuit...

Thanks to phone companys, and electric company's, ect.
Tax assessors take pictures as they drive by. A guy my DH worked with saw a picture of his property along with the family dog doing his business in the front yard.

I had one guy once come to my door, my German Shepherd dog was out back, but was coming in just as I opened the door, this guy stuck his foot inthe door jam, my dog comes up beside me, I grab his collar. this guy looks at my dog (who is huge!) and says "I am sorry I think I have the wrong place" I said I think you do, and called the cops right after I shut the door.
Oh, I love it! I had a fabulous white german shepherd named Casper! Now I have a Jack Russell "Terrorist". She really could hurt someone if she thought someone was going to hurt me. And she has big teeth like a german shepherd! Her canines are about 1" long and most small dogs have small teeth. I only need a gun now. My DH is talking about getting one...
