I know it is not considered in the same category, but Joann's in Indianapolis is positively HUGE. I swear it covers an entire sq. block. Sure had fun in there.

I would not call M&L a quilt shop since they do not do any of the things that quilt shops do like carrying patterns or giving classes. However, they are huge, have a ton of cotton fabrics and their prices cannot be beat! Lucky for me I only live 5 minutes away from there.

Sandy, do you know what street M&L is on in Buena Park? I know of an M&L on Ball Road in Anaheim. Did they move?

Where is that place? Someone else wrote Door Mouse up near Bowling Green and I didnt know it existed. I looked it up and it appears it is a whole barn of fabrics. My daughter goes to Bowling Green University so I think a road trip will be in order very soon!

Thank you. Was just wondering if there was another one in Buena Park. The blog Sandy posted showed Buena Park also. Guess they meant Anaheim.

I just looked it up, cause I have been there often. Mary Jos is in Gastonia,NC Toll free no....800-627-9567. Check out her site. She has 32,000 Sq feet building of fabric. I think it is the largest store. All I know is you will find whatever you want. She even mails out fabric, and you can send her questions. You need to do there sometime!!

Lived close to this store when I lived in the USA , I just loved the fabrics and staff that worked there , they had a teacher named Annetta Ornles she was the best I took every class I could that she taught , and now ten years later if I had the chance to return there is were I would love to go .
I miss them all , Cathy (Australia)

M & L has another store called Jenny's in Fountain Valley, Ca. about 15 miles from M & L. If you visit these stores take notice of how hard the employees work. I think must of them are from Romania and they wear little scarves on their heads and foreign looking clothes. They lift heavy bolts of fabric and put them in the stacks. I am in aw of their hard work.
