The girls in the post office didn't know quite what to do with my little post cards. I just kept saying they will be ok, they go as cards, not a package. After much do they or don't they, they finally did.
Guess no one around here has ever mailed one. We'll see what happens.

That love was passed on to me as I watched her sew all of our clothes while I was growing up. I am so thankful. In 7th grade I learned to sew in home ec class on a treadle. I love sewing and crafts of all kinds. I consider myself a Jackie-of-all-trades and master of none.

2. "Objects of my desire": I am passionate about studying the Bible and learning all I can. After this, loving my DH comes next.

Then, sewing, quilting, collecting vintage machines, lots of hand embroidery, painting, etc., learning all I can from those who so freely share on the Quilting Board, FMQ, using water color pencils with fabric, paper piecing, hot pink in fabric and clothing (although, bright yellow is my new 2nd love) and swapping on the board!

The pink card represents my interest in dense FMQ and coloring fabric with watercolor pencils. The yellow/black/white card represents paperpiecing and my new interest in yellow. It really pops with black and white. (It can't replace hot pink though)

Now, it's off to the post office. I am sending mine in envelopes.
wow, i love them all!

I got mine today in the mail!!! It's very pretty :)

Got mine from Cassie in Ft. Collins CO. She posted a picture of it in a separate thread - you can see it here.

THANK YOU Cassie! It's very pretty and very well made. It's hanging in a place of honor on my design board.

Wouldn't you know, I mailed both of mine on the 28th. They went to Everett, about five miles from Snohomish and came back to me again the next day! So I put them in envelopes and mailed them off again today. I guess I mixed up the order of the addresses and they thought I was the recipient. Anyway, you are getting two cards that got post marked. I could not think of a sewing inspiration, so I made them both Objects of My Desire (Liberty of London fabrics and cats). I have scans in my home computer, so will mail those out when I get home.
