I will do anything to not make an Ohio Star block.lol! I had to make 25 of them for a quilt and did not enjoy making them...at...all....

Me, too. I was feeling very proud today as I clipped, pressed, and marked my blocks...until I realized I forgot to make one "just in case/extra" block...lol!!! So, I pulled out all my fabric pieces to do another kite block tomorrow....oh well!

Great blocks ladies. I can't believe how productive your being. Our quilts are going to so fun and festive.

I am also working on a Ohio star block. I cut it out last weekend. But, need to finish piecing them. But, mine has flamingos on them.

It is just too funny how close we are to making our blocks this time around.

We are going to have a beautiful blend of pieced and applique blocks. Is anyone doing any embroidery blocks this time around? I would if I had a machine to do it with. I used to have one. Just a cheapy simple one. But, it bit the dust. Maybe I can talk DH into buying me a simple one to make a few. Will have to look into my options.

I had ordered a Larel Burch program to do the mermaids, but, honestly, I got tired and wanted to be finished. I know, bad girl. It is lots of time to sit and make them though, and I must get on with my cleaning and organizing. Sorry girls.
