That's okay Red. You made some adorable blocks. And, I have heard that the thread changes can take a long time on the embroidery machine. Especially if you are making 4 or 5 of them. We will all enjoy the blocks that you are sending in.

Red - I'm with you on time constraints. It's why I focused on making swap blocks right away. I am preparing to move to Idaho this summer and the organizing for that is overwhelming. We have moved once in our marriage and we have been here 29 years so it's a lot to go thru. Than the cleaning needed for showing house...yikes... I'm a bit overwhelmed for sure.
Teen, I wish you well in your move. At the beginning of our marriage, it felt like we moved at least once a year. But, now, have been living in my house for the last 15 years. And, something very bad would have to happen to make me move out of it at this time. I love my house and where I live. I'm afraid, that I'm very much a homebody. And, am very attached to my home. Thank goodness DH feels the same.

I'm going to be starting my blocks this week! Now that the holidays are done and the Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt has been revealed, I feel like I can breathe and enjoy some nice applique blocks.

I got 4 sets complete, not sure on 5. I still have plenty of time if I change my mind.

Hello everyone! I just pm'd Judith1005. I am in for 3 sets! Wish I could post a pic of my completed quilt from the last summer block swap but the quilt was claimed by my niece as soon as she saw it this past summer. I took it to TN to show my mom and the rest is history. I love the variety of blocks that y'all are creating. Hmmm, Bugs, gardening... looks like I need to include a birdhouse! I'll post as soon as I can. Can't wait to see what all the "buzz" is about!

Note** My niece claimed the quilt this past Thanksgiving. I tell you what. I need heat in this southern state of mine. The brain freeze has claimed another victim and I'm ready for warmer weather now! North Carolina is not suppose to be in the single digits!!! lol

Hi, GracefulAnn...so glad you are joining us. This is my first and it's totally because I saw everyone's finished quilts last year and yeppers.... They were all so cute I had to have one for myself.....looking forward to seeing your creations in the weeks to come...

NZ...yea! That BH thing was intense...I didn't do it but I lurked and, I sware, it appeared to be a full time job for everyone...glad it's over for you... I need to go check out everyone's finished quilts...

buddysmom...I initially thought I 'd only get 3 sets done, but, I'm an overachiever (duh!) plus...I was having so much fun..Your 4 blocks are awesome...I'm hoping a couple work their way in my pile...
