I am recovering from bronchitis and feeling better today. Less coughing, more energy. Finally.

As a result, was able to work on DGD's quilt. Only two more pickle dish blocks to go. Then will start the sashing of 4" blocks. Worked on an art quilt and like the direction it is going. Sure to perk me up: red to orange to purple.

I am happy today because I came hone from the hospital and I know that the pain now is the road to healing. Had wonderful nurses, doctors, and other health providers.

My coughing is much better, last of ten days of meds. No energy, but feeling much better.

We drove 40 minutes south of Tucson to have lunch on the patio of Quail Creek golf course. Lovely, sitting in the sun to eat.

Stopped at a quilt shop where I found more orange for the art quilt. Enough to make another row. It is looking good.

The sun came out and the snow melted!
Beautiful sunset!
I bought fabric on clearance!
The appraiser was here today to appraise the house so we can get a home equity loan (consolidating bills to get ahead in life).

AND - I have tomorrow off!

Hubby called and needed passport numbers and asked me what date we were going to fly.
Made me smile because that means that is one more thing checked off of the "to do" list and then we are outta here!

I was able to help a family that recently lost their son, one of our customers. It felt good to have that mom and sister hug me and tell me how wonderful they think I am. (I have them fooled, and am doing my best not to mess that up! ;) )

THEN...I went and checked my mailbox, and I had a BOX FULL (as in JAM PACKED) with great fabrics for my DJ quilt!

I got to go to Fabric Depot yesterday, and picked up some of the sale batiks for my step daughter's Christmas gift...ended up with 3 3/4 yards of fabric for less than $20!!

This is a "Life is Good" day! :)

Nothing special, just a wonderful sunny day. More rain is expected tomorrow and Saturday, so it's nice to get that day of sunshine in between.

Today!!!

I am happy to have another day to get up and go at the puzzles handed to me every day. (Life seems full of them! ) But living is a lot better than the alternative!!
