Are you kidding me? That quilt is beautiful & your friend, no matter her skill level is going to love it because you made it just for her.

If she is a quilter, she will accept it on its own merit, and love it for the sentiment that it was made with. People in general, would accept it as a token of love, not Knit-pick it.

I only read through the first page, but everyone is 1000% spot on.

I love getting gifts from the heart. It takes nothing to go and buy something for someone, but (as I am learning really fast)picking colors and patterns and executing said design is a whole lot more precious than the technical aspect any day.

    Great job!!!

I made a Christmas table runner for my close friend. The first one I ever made and quilted. I to was worried about some of the bo bo's.
But all she has been talking about is the table runner I gave her and she doesn't want to put away her christmas things because
is looks so pretty on her table. She cryed when I gave it to her.

So give it to her and you may be surprised how much she will love it because it came from you.

I doubt very much that your friend is going to be looking for imperfections when you give her your beautiful gift. I also doubt she will be able to see any, if there are any, through the tears of joy she will be shedding when you give it to her. It is beautiful.

Great Quilt! If she is a great friend she'll not even mention the technical side and appreciate the gift for what it is = A great gift! Thanks for sharing.

If she "knows her stuff" she'll know how much work and love went into it

Please don't put your work down. It is a beautiful and as others have said....if she doesn't appreciate it she doesn't deserve it.

btw, I love the quilting. I really fits the pattern and enhances it.
