From what i can see it is stunning. She will be very proud and honored that you have taken so much care and time to create something so beautiful for her. She will LOVE IT.

Thanks so much for the feedback, all; I gifted it Sunday and she was indeed thrilled with it. I know we tend to be our own worst critics, but it's the first time I've given one of my quilts to someone with significant quilting knowledge so it was pretty scary!

If and when someone gave me a quilt like this, I would cherish it. Its the thought that you took all that time and effort into making it. If it didnt have flaws it wouldnt be a handmade quilt.

i agree with the others who stated to give it without shame. you did a great job and she should love it. let us know the outcome, i think you will be pleasantly surprised.
