It is lovely. Any quilter loves something that is made for them. We so rarely have folks do that for us. She will be awe struck.

You know, there are many people who think that just because a person is skilled at a craft that they would not enjoy other peoples work. That simply is not true!

If someone had the fortitude to make me a quilt. I would cry. Being a quilter, I know what kind of time, money and love it takes.

I guess my point is, give it to her. She will adore you for it. That is one beautiful quilt.

Your friend will be thrilled that you share the same hobby. She will know that you put tons of time and effort into making it for her. She will also know that batiks are very pricey. I concur with the group. Give it proudly! I didn't notice any flaws.

It's a beautiful quilt! If she's a quilter, she will know how hard you worked on this masterpiece.

Your work looks perfect, I am quite sure that your friend will be delighted with it. She will appreciate all the hard work you have done.

Thanks so much for the love, all! schniff. I feel much better now and will gift it to her with only my self-imposed reservations thanks to your thoughtful responses!
