    Pinning through the points while holding the layers together to make sure they match helps. I sometimes machine baste first to see if they line up, then sew. It's much easier to take out basting if they don't and you have to re-do.

    I'm with kayaker on the one. I just did a quilt top. and practiced on the tube method ( which I really loved). But I still haved posted anything yet.

    That is so sad. My sister just made a log cabin quilt in purple and green with an embroidered white center. It is simple to do and absolutely stunning. It is something that you could do too.
