    Sounds like you not only made a beautiful quilt, but also raised a wonderful young man. A terrific keepsake for him and he has the good sense to realize it.

    What a beautiful story and quilt. It is just lovely. And for a son to ask for that, is the very very best part. You can always make another for sister.

    This is gorgeous, and what a great story. Sorry, I didn't read all the posts so am most likely duplicating what everyone else has said. You need to put something about this in the label or the quilts naming, like "tears of joy" or something like that.
