I have a 403A Singer Slant-O-Matic which is my baby, a couple of Janome Sergers for my swimwear stuff and a mystery machine that was given to me at the end of someone's yardsale, complete with cabinet. I need to open that up, see what make it is and give it a spin.

I have a Viking to piece with, and a Pfaff hobby quilter to quilt. A treadle for when the power goes out, and a Featherweight for quilting classes. I can't afford expensive machines, mine were discounted when I bought them(Viking, Pfaff).

I have a Bernina 200 embroidery machine that I bought when I was still working full-time. Last week, my son bought a treadle machine for me as a Christmas gift. (Actully, he does not know it yet raflol!) It has been in a fire and the case is damaged. My grandson is going to refinish the top, want him to remove the damaged veneer (sp?) and sand, stain and polyurethane the top. I am cleaning the machine and hope that it works. The best part of this? Just the machine and purchase of the leather drive belt -- less than $35.00. I cannot wait to try this out! It has La Reine on the machine, and on the treadle it has IMPROVED. This must be so because my disposition has taken a turn for the better!

I have a Viking Lily 550 and love it. I don't need the embrodiery and the Lily has 6 different menus with alphabets and decorative stitches. Bought it used (lady had it about 4 months and traded up) for $1600 in 1999. Have not had one problem with it and have sewn tons of things on it.

Just counted the machines that I have and the total comes to 7.
Series 8 - 830
Bernina 350
2 lower end Janomes
Janome serger
and 2 featherweights, the years they were made are 1948 and 1934. Both work very well and I do use them.

I have a Brother EX-660. Bought for a temporary, but like it so much that I plan to keep it until my daughter (9) needs her own machine.
I have looked a little at embroidery/sewing machines and can't decide. Maybe the Janome Memory Craft 9700. Will need to save quilting allowance for quite a while to get that, though. But I want to get a machine that I am happy with.

I have Singers. A Genie portable from the '70's that I use almost every day. A 66 from early 20th century in a case that I don't sew with because it is missing a spring and I haven't gotten around to searching hard for a replacement. A Curve (Curvy?) from 2007 that my Step-mother-in-law gave me early this month because she's had it for a number of years and never sewn with it. It has every little do-dad anyone could want and I have sewn one quilt block with it. I need to experiment with it more to get the feel of it. I didn't particularly care for the foot that came on it so I need to try out all the other feet ;-)
